DT - Blue - Stars - Stitching Challenge

Today's "DT Post Card"

Welcome to 2017.  Our first challenge for the year is this weeks challenge to include blue - stars - and stitching.  My favourite colour is blue so just love this challenge, plus I love stitching on my cards!  I took some of this older Bo Bunny paper line and sewed the striped paper onto the stars paper.  I then adhered it to the card base.

I used some paper smooches stars dies to cut a few stars and I really like these dies as it adds a layered look.  I added just the silver star to add a little bit of sparkle as well as to add more of a "white" tone to the card to help it balance out.

I took my image and did some copic colouring and then die cut her with some spellbinders dies.  I stamped this sentiment onto some paper.  The stamp is from a Hero Arts stamp set.

I hope you enjoyed this project!  Please check out the other DT members' projects!  Thanks so much for joining me for this Challenge over at Stamps & fun = Creativity!

Thanks for stopping by!

  7. Love the way you inset the dies. It gives the stars such a great look. The decorative stitch you chose is a perfect touch.
