Owl-ish

Today's "Card"

Hey, thanks for stopping by! I found this digi image awhile ago and I finally got to make something with it. I love this image!!! I embossed my blue paper in behind using a cuttlebug embossing folder. I like how the paper cracked just a bit! I layered that onto brown paper and then the card itself. I used spellbinders labels and cut out both my digi image and a blue frame. I stamped the for you. I attached some old ribbon I had which worked perfectly, along with some new buttons, colored twine, a brad, and some flowers to pull this all together! I think it turned out super!

This was picked at Sweet n Sassy for card of the month! Wahoo!

By the sea

Today's "Card"

Well It took a bit, but finally finished up this cute little card. I used the mermaid Tilda. She is so cute! I can't remember what paper line that is but I used a ton of it!!! I added some buttons and some colored twine, a brad, and some flowers and it all came together. I like the inside of the card too! I usually don't like easel cards, but this one is quite cute. What do you think!

Sketchy Challenge

Today's "Card"

Well have I been busy this week! I made this card for the sketchy challenge! I really like how it turned out. I have never done a template sketch before, so it was kind of fun! I love the spellbinders on this card. I sewed the paper in behind to the card. Ii also added some flowers, a brad, button, and small amount of bling to finish up this card! I just love it and it is in my favourite colour blue!

Just for you!

Today's "Card"

Hi everyone. I made this card for a friend thanking her for helping me with a few things. I used spellbinders, LaBlanch stamps, copics, Martha Stewart Punches, 1 bling, and some ribbon! It came together really fast! I like the layers of spellbinders, it worked out well! I really like the purple and dark brown together!

Another Girl Album

Today's "Album"

Hey I made this girl album for my friend Karen. I like the extra pockets at the bottom. I used a Martha Stewart for that punch, and it is the same punch used on the cover binding. I patch quilted the front to add some details with the sewing. I didn't want to put too many embellishments throughout the book, but still wanted to add a few little touches to each page.

Baby card time.

Today's "Card"

For this stamping for the weekend challenge, you need to use the photo for inspiration in doing your project...so here is mine! I used spellbinders to create the layers and some really pretty ribbon from my stash. The stamp is from Just Rite. I also finished it up with some pearls along the side.

Glimmer Spray, Metal, and words

Today's "Card"

Check out my entry for this weeks Simon says "What do you say?" I love a great adventure and enjoy scrapbooking!!! I used many items including Tim Holt dies, clips, metal, stickers, as well as the tattered time paper by DCWV and a Glimmer Chip from Tattered Angels. I also used Ranger Blue paint and sanded off the embossed areas.

For Lynda's Compendium of Curiosities Challenge 16 I find it funny I didn't spray the glimmer clips with glimmer mist, but used a Glimmer Spray on the gear so it would really stand out! (And since I just missed out on last weeks Challenge over at Lynda's place, I added the enamelled metal in behind :)
