Distressed Western

Today's "Card"

Hey, my last posting for now. I made up this western dad card. I love the sentiment, it is quite sweet. I took this image of the father/son and then sewed it onto this great Polaroid card stock. I think this was from the DCWV paper line. I took this dotty paper and then sewed a strip along the bottom and then added this ribbon fibre around. I like that it is more manly then pretty. I inked around most of the edges to add some distressing. Lastly I adhered it to the card front and added some bling, a flower, and a brad.

B is for

Today's "Card"

Hey, here is another bright card. I love this little bear with the balloon. I took this image and layered it up with spellbinders dies. Then I took this great doodle bug paper and sewed a orange strip down the card. I love the black accents. I adhered it to the card base and added my home made sentiment from MW Word. I love that the colours works together and the playful font. Lastly I added the pinwheel, bling, and stickles.

Western layers

Today's "Card"

Hey everyone. Here is another western card. There are a ton of layers here. I started out placing this wordy western paper in behind. Then I used my spellbinders circle die and cut a circle in this horseshoe paper. I added some black cardstock on the top and along the circle (which was also cut to fit the circle) to add some depth. I then added this horse paper along the bottom. I wrapped some gold ribbon around the top and some brown twine along the bottom. I took my western image and cut it up with spellbinders. I then added this wonderful rope sticker and some bling. Lastly I added this gold flower, black flower, and gold brad set to finish it up!

Layers n layers

Today's "Card"

Hey everyone. I made this little card up the other day. I really think it is cute. I took this flower paper and then placed it on the card base. I then took this pink/white checkered paper and die cut a heart out of it. I then wrapped a ribbon around and then adhered it to the card base. I added some flowers and this little bear that I cut out. I added some sheer white ribbon on the top and bottom of the card and then added some bling on top of that. I think it is a pretty cute little card.

Edwin's flying

Today's "Card"

Hey everyone. Edwin is ready to play in this image. I love the colours that works so well with the entire card. For the background mat I sewed (check out this great stitch pattern of flowers) this red/white strip paper to the bandana red paper. I then wrapped a ribbon around the mat and then adhered it to the card base. I used some new spellbinders dies I just got to layer Edwin up after colouring and cutting him out. I used stickles a bit to give his plane some sparkle. Finally I added the sentiment, bling, a brad, and some flowers. I used some shimmer spray on the blue flower just to get some sparkly going on!

Love ewe!

Today's "Card"

Hey everyone. So I just love this sweet little sheep with a heart. I did some colouring and then die cut her out. I layered her up with spellbinders dies. For the background I love this. I took this heart paper and sewed a couple pink and black papers that I had punched out. I used a Martha Stewart Punch for this. After that I wrapped this American Craft ribbon around and made a really nice bow! Then I used some pop dots to get my sheep onto the card. Lastly I added some flowers, brad, bling, and the sentiment to finish it up. I love this card!

Bingo girl

Today's "Card"

Hey, I can't get enough of these bingo cards right now. They work so nicely for interest and layering. So I took some this plaid paper and then sewed some blue printed card stock to it. I then sewed the whole mat onto some brown card stock. I like how that makes it stick out a bit and matches her hair colour. I layered the bingo card, but first inked it. I added her cut out and a flower, some bling, and a brad and she was done.

Scrapbook Album Video!

Today's "Album"

Hey everyone. Here is my first ever scrapbook video. I have been asked to make some videos and I really haven't had much time before now....plus I'm not sure I like my voice! Bare with my first video, I hope to get better! I struggled with good lighting and trying to get my tripod to be user friendly. Obviously I need a flip cam!

I plan to make a few more videos showing my craft area, some storage ideas, projects I'm working on, and some of my finished projects!

One that really pops!

Today's "Card"

Hey everyone. Thought I would share this card. I just made it and just sold it that quick! It is really one of my favourites. It just pops! I started out with this yellow paper from recollections. I love the honeycomb pattern. I sewed some red squares in behind. I then adhered this first to a blue piece of cardstock and then all of it to the red card base. I took a yellow piece of cardstock and cut it out with MFT ribbon border die. I love this die. I started the sentiment with Simon Says Stamp set. For the little girl, I die cut the image and then some co-ordinating colours to add some interest. I then wrapped some yellow twine around added some stickler and some bling. Lastly I put a nice flower and shiny brad to finish it up. I really love this card, no wonder it lasted 3 hours on ebay lmao.

A funny day

Today's "Card & Album"

Hey everyone. Well I had a strange day. I went scrapbook shopping for supplies and ended up selling a few things to the owners! Here are some pictures of the items!

I just love this bear. Isn't he cute. I just made this up today and it obviously was cute because she scooped it up! I love the bingo card in behind and the lovely colours!

Isn't this a cute card. I love this CC Designs image. She is so cute. I love the yellow and teal together!

Again I love this cute little girl. I used stickles to add some sparkle to this card and I love the big red flower and blue bow!

Check out this mini I made. I just finished this up and Daryl had to have it! I used some little envelopes I had and matted them up. I added some buttons, gears, and some Tim Holtz metal to add some fun.

This has to be my favorite page. I love the camera die and the post card. The following page has the big gear and the flowers. I stamped this image into this little text area and love how that turned out. I used the film strip from Tim Holtz to add something extra to this page. Love it!

Love the pull out tags and the fibres. I used the paper line "documented" and I just love this paper line. It is great for Vintage or a more Manly look!

A quick look at the pull out tag from the card I managed to sneak in there! Hope you enjoyed the few projects! I'm adding this to my Make it Monday list!

Vintage double fold card

Today's "Card"

Hey! I made this double fold card and I just love the look. I used some of the rest of my basic grey paper from this older paper line. I love the red's and browns and such. I sewed this strip of paper from this paper line to more strips from the same paper line and then punched the edge with a martha stewart punch. I then wrapped this black and white ribbon around the mat and then adhered it to the card front. I cut out this red flourish using a spellbinders die. Then I layered up this butterfly image. I added some bling, flowers, sentiment, and a brad.

For the inside I used more papers and more spellbinders dies. I love all these dies, they really add a nice look. I did some more sewing and layering. I love the middle page with these new dies. They are so pretty. I added another image of the birds in the trees and another sentiment and this middle area was done!

For the last little page (green page) I just added these little dies from the D-Lites Spellbinders pack to keep the theme going.

I love how this all came together. It makes this more then "just a card". I could have put in a spot for a gift card and the possibilities are endless! I hope you all love it!
