"1000 CARDS FOR
CARDS FOR CARE ALBERTA"
Cards for care Alberta is handing out cards for a large Senior's Care Centre card drive. I first wanted to donate 300...and then 300 came and I kept going. I then said I was going to do 500, and this continued until I completed 1000 cards. I took pictures of some of my favourites.
My goal was to get as many cards to seniors as possible. I did a lot of die cutting and used washi tape. I love all the landscaping cards as they could go to anyone. The windmills were so beautiful too.
I loved all the ocean cards that I made up. There were so musical ones and of course who doesn't love turtles. I also loved the papers with cats on them next to windows. I bought a lot more of those papers for future cards.

Here are a few of the more "male" themed cards. I love the trains and cards. I found these great papers that I knew would be a hit! I also liked making up the "polaroid" themed cards too. Very easy to add a sticker to and to decorate.
Here are some more cards. I used up some really great stickers too on some of the cards. I made some card mats and then layered stickers on them to create cute and fun cards. I also did some embossing for a few backgrounds and inking.
I tried to take this picture several times and this is the best one I took. I loved using the metallic cardstock and embossing it. It made a great background layer. I also tried to use some more "people" stickers on cards. I think it looks good with landscaping and also as the main image
Below here are a few last cards that were my favourites. I think these turtle papers are so beautiful. I tried throughtout all the cards to try to use a variety of colors too.
Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope that you have a great one!
