Embossed baby

Today's "Card"

Hey, here is another sweet baby card! I embossed this white background paper. Then I took this pretty ribbon and wrapped it around the card mat and then adhered the whole piece to the card base. I die cut this bear again using spellbinders and then die cut the sentiment label, added some flower/brads, and some bling and it was done.

New baby boy

Today's "Card"

Hey, I love this quick baby card I made up. I sewed a yellow strip to add some interest to the mat and then I layered the mat onto the card front. I took this sweet bear image and layered it up with spellbinders dies. I added these MFT's cloud die cuts which I love. I made this sentiment on MS Word and printed it and then used a corner rounder on the strip. I added a flower/brad and some bling and it was done. It is a pretty card.

Create your own happiness

Today's "Card"

Here is a great relaxing card! I love this paper line by Making Memories. It is an older line, but I love the colours and the dark purple on the light purple background! I used spellbinders to layer up this image. I sewed (using this cool flower stitch) a strip onto the mat. Then I added a ribbon nd adhered it all to, first a green mat and then to the purple card base. I added some bling, a sentiment, and these purple flowers by Martha Stewart. This is such a pretty card, I love the colours together.

Flight of life

Today's "Card"

Hey, I love all the elements in this card, and there are a lot of them! Firstly I sewed this green grass strip on this nice water-colour-ie paper. (I hope that is a word!) I then die cut, using MFT diamond border die in yellow. I also used spellbinders die for the white doily mat! I love this. I added some ribbon/fibre and then adhered the whole piece to the card base. I added the sentiment, flowers, brad, and bling to finish this up. Plus of course this adorable image of Edwin!

French distress

Today's "Card"

Hey, I still have some of this paper line left. It is amazing how much you can make from a paper pad! I just layered up some of the papers from the Paris Nights paper line. I then inked the edges and stamped and embossed the bonjour and images throughout the card. I love the spellbinders mats, they add a touch of elegance to this "distressed" card. Also, I love the music paper in the background, it brings it all together!

Western scraps

Today's "Card"

Here is another western. I seem to sell a lot of them so I made a ton of them! I took some scraps I had and sewed them together. I like the look. I used gold thread and gold ribbon as well as gold bling to tie it all together. I added some bling, a few western elements, and this adorable sentiment which I made up with MS Word. I love this font too, it is a stamp font. Then it was done! A quick one, but a unique one.

Owl always be here

Today's "Card"

Hey, check out this card I made using the some left over papers and my stampin up owl punch. I love how you can incorporate the papers into the punch and make it all match. I first sewed the striped strip onto the card mat. It you look there is also a small grey strip under that as well to add some grey to the card. I took and layered the main mat onto the orange mat and then adhered the whole thing to the black card base. I like the dimension it adds. I added a spellbinders label and placed the owl onto it. I added some flowers, buttons, bling and another spellbinder label with the sentiment. I really love this card!

Thanks - purple/blue

Today's "Card"

Hey, I love this simple card. I took this purple paper and then sewed a strip that I punched out with this blue paper. I added a ribbon around it too and then adhered it to the card front. I layered up a couple of square images and (the other one is stamped) I added a flower/brad and then the bling too. Lastly I added the "thank you" sticker to the card. I love the purple and blue together.

Hey, I love this orangie paper. I took and sewed two strips. Then I layered it onto black card stock first and then adhered it all to the card front. I cut out this adorable bear image with spellbinders and then layered up flowers/brads and this wonderful sentiment and punched out heart to finish it up.

My first private scrapbook class - mini-album

Today's "Album"

Last night I held my first private scrapbook class. It was so much fun, there were 12 people. I prepared the house full of my ready made cards, kits, and albums, and then created a section where people could make their own kits. Check out the pics. Also I'm posting pictures of the item I taught! (Scroll down for pictures of mini-album

So lots going on in this mini-album card. I did lots of sewing, embossing, and die cutting for this class. I love the colours and the layering. On each of the tags are bible scriptures. Each person picked a special scripture for their card as well as a bunch I printed for all. I love the extra pockets and the punches and everything really came together for this album!
