Sewn Boy Brag Album - Video Tutorial

Today's "Video Tutorial"

Boy Brag Album

Hey everyone!  Check out this amazing and fun boy album I made.  I just love the colours!  This paper line is an old Bo-Bunny paper line.

Look how fun and interactive this album is!  Tags and openings!  I love the use of die cuts to add interest.  You don't have to fill you albums full of flowers and expensive embellishments.  Especially for a boy and or male item.

I loved using a stamp set to add some extra interest.  I saw someone awhile ago post a video on an album somewhat like this one.  I didn't like the tutorial as it seemed to be lacking space to fold up nicely.  So I re-designed the idea totally.  I added some different flips/flaps and some other different things throughout the album.

I used many die cuts and stamping to add interest to this album.  When embellishing a boy or male project, it is hard to embellish sometimes as we tend to want to flower everything!  Ribbons and flowers are embellishments used more for feminine stuff, however I sometimes can sneak a male looking flower onto a male card!

I love all the sewing throughout the album.  It adds a lot of interest and embellishment!  It also adds a bit of texture to this album.

Check out my video tutorial on how to build and embellish this album.

Part 1:  Building the base of the album.

Part 2:  Embellishing and putting together the album.

Video Card Kit A Series - Card 1

Today's "Video Tutorial"

I'm teaching a card kit class and thought it would be awesome to include a video tutorial for the people who buy the class as a kit!  I did this all up in July but only posting now.  Life is crazy busy!

This is a wonderful western card.  I love the inking and the colours of this card.  I used this horse image and I added some little elements in this card.  A flower, brad, a charm from MFT western charm, cork element, and lastly some twine.  I love how this all came together!

Check out my tutorial in the video below!
