Love journey

Today's "Card"

I love this digi image. This time I used pencil crayons to colour it in. I used K & Co paper in behind. I added some blue ribbon and bow, which I think helps highlight the blues. I added flowers, bling, and the sentiment by CC designs Amy R. It was a quick cards and I have enjoyed working with this image in various cards.

Love birds copic style

Today's "Card"

Well I had to laugh at this image...I thought the birds were kind of funny looking, but I made it work!!! I used some grey pink and green copics and coloured this image up. I then used spellbinders to mat the image. I used, yes Echo Paper line, for this card. I know I've been stuck on their papers! I sewed just the top half for something different and added a ribbon to hide the seam between the pink and blue papers. I added my sentiment, again a stamp from CC designs Amy R. Lastly, I added flowers, brads, and bling to finish this off.

Digi Heart

Today's "Card"

Well I made yet another Valentine's Day card. This one I used this really neat digi image. I matted it up using spellbinders and added some bling to the right side of the mat. I used Echo Park paper and sewed the pink paper strip onto the main mat. I added some spellbinders elements from the Fleur Elements pack and glued them on. I added a red/black flower and a brad and I love how this looks with the black flower under. Lastly I used this stamped sentiment from CC Designs, Amy R.

Love you always birds

Today's "Card"

This was a bit of a crazy card, but it turned out nice I think! I found some scraps of paper, and in fact the main image (bird with hearts) is actually a piece of K & Co paper. I matted that up and added some ribbon and a bow. I attached this to the card front which I sewed a strip of paper to and then added 3 different digi images and then matted them up using spellbinders. I spread them out evenly along that strip. For the sentiment, I used a spellbinders die and then cut out my sentiment that I printed and made from MS Word. Lastly I added three flowers/brad to the right bottom part of the main image mat and I was done!

Upside down love

Today's "Card"

I love this image from Dearie Dolls! I love her images and encourage you to check her out! I started out with taking a strip of pink paper and sewed it to my card mat. I then took some red ribbon and wrapped it around the card mat. I always use tape to attach the ribbon as this helps glide the adhesive over it when attaching it to the card front. I inked all the edges. Then I took this sweet image and die cut it and layered it with first a red and then black mat. I added some bling to the side of this digi mat. I then took 5 buttons which all matched and added some twine and hemp and then adhered them around the left side of the digi mat. Lastly I layered a couple of bigger flowers and a green brad and added them to this card. I really like how all the colours go and it is a fun image.

Hearts n wings

Today's "Card"

Yes I know, I'm going Valentine's NUTS! The funny thing is my hubby really isn't the "give a valentine's card to guy." Oh well! So this card I made I used some wonderful digi images that originally multicoloured. I didn't like this so I used photoshop to make the image all pink. Firstly, I used what I think is K & CO paper. It has foiled hearts and is a really nice feeling paper. I too a thin piece of pink and then sewed it to the card mat. I added my digi image of the two birds and die cut it with spellbinders. I added some pink/white twine to add some texture. I used spellbinders to cut out this tag and then stamped with Amy R, CC designs Love is a journey stamp. Then I print, cut, and die cut these little bird images and placed them down the the pink strip. I lastly added a couple flowers/brad and some bling. I love how the card turned out and I love how it all matched because I used photoshop.

Silhouette Love

Today's "Card"

I have this wonderful silhouette image and I printed it out then used spellbinders to mat it up first onto red, then black. I used more Echo Park paper for this card. I inked the edges. I had some ribbon left over from another project and I used this nice thick ribbon around the card mat. I added this great sentiment, (From CC Designs & Amy R). I love her stamps, check her out! I then added these roses to the card. I think it adds a touch of class to this image. I lastly added pearls and bling to the top left corner.

Venice, love, and boats

Today's "Card"

I won this image over at the Paper shelter. I love this image! I took this image and die cut it with spellbinders. I matted it up and then adhered it to this wonderful brown patterned paper. I had a couple of inches left of this paper, so I flipped it and then used a Martha Stewart punch and then sewed it onto the brown paper. I really love this! I then took a little of this left over ribbon that say "I love you" and added that around the card mat. I adhered the whole mat to the card base. I added some bling to the left top area and quite a few flowers/brads around the image.

Pink & Black romance

Today's "Card"

For Valentine's day it seems pink is always involved. I like this combination of mostly pink/black. I used a variety of papers, - Echo Park, K & Co, and another was a scrap of something else. I sewed it together and then printed off this did image. I matted it and then adhere it to the card front. I matted it onto a white piece of card stock. Then I placed this pretty pink ribbon on and made a bow. I adhered the whole thing to the black card base. I then added a simple white flower with pink brad and this romantic sentiment to the card. I printed this sentiment using MS Word and I like doing so because you can add colour to your sentiment like I did here!

Romance & Love

Today's "Card"

I quickly made up this card. I love this digi image. I thought this time I would keep it black and white instead of colouring it and I like it on this card this way. I matted it up with black cardstock. I used this great paper by Echo Park and added some sewing along the seam where I attached another piece of patterned paper. I had this old ribbon (I love you) and centered it and taped it to the back of the mat. I adhered the whole mat to the card front. Then I added the digi image on, added a flower/brad, and placed some bling on the left top corner. Finally I added this wonderful sentiment. This quite a simple card to make and I think it looks great!

Owls-blue-pink

Today's "Card"

I can't seem to get enough of Owls. I love this image. It worked perfectly with my flowers and cardstock! I printed this digi and then used spellbinders to die cut it out. I used some stickles on the hearts to add some sparkle. I took 2 pieces of cardstock and layered it so the bottom would be the paper with the hearts. I added ribbon to hide the seam. I then added another ribbon up and down and then placed the digi die cut on top. I added an array of flowers, brads, and gems. I then added the sentiment Owl always love you and used some stickles on the heart there too. Lastly I added some bling just to add a bit more sparkle to this card and it was done.
