ccc 35 - Continuation
Today's "CCC Entry"
Hi everyone. This is my version of CCC 35. I wanted to take the things I most though as "Tim Holtz" and put his well known stamps and techniques on my project. I used the hole technique and sewed here and there. I used many other techniques as well. Note the clock stamp, it has crackle paint on it. The background is the wet distress look. The car stamp has been clear embossed. The "Love" letters are backed with thick black foam, as well as the metal clock. Note the spinners are set to 3 and 5. The clip and the metal letters have been alcohol inked too. You can't tell but the stamped clock has been attached with of course, Tim's tiny attacher. So it is FULL of Tim!
I want to not feel it is over just because all the challenges are done. The word "soar" is symbolic to keep our scrapbooking going and experimenting to make our creations even better. Also the open bird cage is symbolic to this too. I hope you like it!

The beautiful distressing, the gorgeous embellishments and textures, the brilliantly-incorporated stitching and stamping-- You've created the perfect Grand Finale piece for the CCC! I absolutely love it.
