Video Tutorial Series - June 2015 - Card 4

Today's "Video Tutorial"

June 2015 - Card Series Card 4 of 6

I love these papers I used in this card.  It is an older birthday line from Bo-Bunny.  The colours are so bright and cheerful!  I took this image of fireworks and I layered them up with spellbinders dies.  I love the sentiments that I used from a Simon Says Stamp set called Sending and wishing.  I stitched the blue dots paper onto the balloons background paper.  I love the red stitching!  I layered up the yellow chevron paper with some white yardstick to add some "pop".  Lastly I added a few coloured stars that would match the rest of the card.  This was simple to put together.  Sometime it is hard to get all the colours to work together, but I think it turned out great!

Stamps & Fun Sketch

Today's "Fun Sketch"

Hey everyone thanks for stopping by.  Today I made a card using the sketch from Stamps & Fun challenge blog.  It is a 5 1/2 X 5 1/2 sized card.

I started out taking some pink papers from my stash and layering them up with some yellow papers just to help them stand out.   For the bottom layer I added some white dash lines with my uni-ball sign broad pen.  I love this pen!  For the next layer, I sewed the pink patterned paper to the yellow card stock.  I then wrapped some yellow/white twine around the mat and then adhered it to the card with some pop dots.   I took my image and cut it out with spellbinders dies and then layered it up with some "hearts" circle dies from spellbinders.  I then cut the pink heart mat in half.  I adhered the image to the pink heart mat.  I then used pop dots again to pop up the image to add some dimension.

Lastly I added some bling, flowers, and stickles.  I adhered the flowers/brad with some hot glue.  For the bling, I didn't have any yellow bling, so I just used clear bling and coloured them with my yellow copic marker.  For the image I added some stickles to her bow, the candle, and the cupcake to add some shimmer!  What a fun little card and neat sketch!

Video Tutorial Series - June 2015 - Card 3

Today's "Video Tutorial"

June 2015 - Card Series Card 3 of 6

I love these papers I used in this card.  It is an older birthday line from Bo Bunny. It is really my favourite technique to use with cards.  It adds so much to cards!

I stamped "wishing you only the best" from the Simon Says Stamp set Sending and Wishing linked below.  I layered up the yellow chevron paper with some white yardstick to add some "pop".  Lastly I added a few coloured stars that would match the rest of the card.  This is a wonderful card you could give for many occasions.  It could be a birthday card for a friend or even wishing someone the best on a new house, job, or wedding!

This was simple to put together.  Sometime it is hard to get all the colours to work together, but I think it turned out great!

Video Tutorial Series - June 2015 - Card 2

Today's "Video Tutorial"

June 2015 - Card Series Card 2 of 6

I made this card to show how you can use random scraps of paper.  I used my scraps and circle punches and created this beautiful card.  It was so simple to make up this card.  All I did was look for similar scrap papers and punch some circles.  I Stamped my sentiment from Simon Says Stamp, Just because you're amazing" and added a few liquid pearls drops, some dash-lines and it came together nicely!

I love this stamp set by Simon Says Stamp!  This is a great sentiment that you can use to send to a special friend, or to even thank someone for doing something special for you!

Video Tutorial Series - June 2015 - Card 1

Today's "Video Tutorial"

June 2015 - Card Series Card 1 of 6

Check out my very first ever video tutorial!  I'm teaching a card class and thought it would be awesome to include a video tutorial for the people who buy the class as a kit!

I have used this adorable image from Doctor Digi.  I also used some MFT dies and some Bo Bunny paper.  Some of the items have been discontinued, but I had some of this paper left and wanted to put it to good use!  Check out my tutorial in the video below!
