Today's "DT Post Card"

For this challenge you have to make something for any occasion.  I love these little present gift cards I have made for the last couple of years.  I love making these little gift cards!  You can easily make them for any occasion.  I just love the Christmas one I made in the tutorial below.

Please note that you can put anything into this slot including gift cards, pictures, money, notes, and anything you want to include in one of these cards.  Please see the video tutorial on how I made ones for Christmas below!

DT Post: Gifts & Non Cute

Today's "DT Post Card"

Firstly here is my card from the last challenge (non-cute).  I missed this as I was away on holidays and there was so much going on I never posted.  I love this card.  I love the Tim Holtz clock gears and the wonderful fibres to add texture to this card.

Now for this week's challenge!

For this week's challenge you we are showing "little gifts".

I made up these cute little envelopes.  I made the envelope with my scoring board and then covered it with scrapbooking 12 X 12 papers.  My intent was to include pictures and a gift card in here as a present!  To decorate the edge of the envelope, I used a Martha Stewart Punch.  I added a beautiful purple ribbon/bow around the middle strip and to add more purple I added the flower as well on the top.  I wanted to add some glimmer and I added some stickles on the polar bear's scarfs on the paper.

I will make a few more of these maybe with some different papers.  I like that I can add a gift among this envelope which is a little gift in itself.
