Wedding Card - Sketch - DT

Today's "DT Post Card"

Firstly an update on my house!  Hooray, we have moved into our new house.  We have been cleaning the old one and the new people take possession this Friday!  It has been a crazy couple of weeks, but I can't wait to start crafting and posting some new things!  Check out my new 9 foot by 9 foot closer to store all my stuff...well some of it!

Now on to this great wedding card I made.  I was so excited as this was the first card I made in my new house.  I took and embossed some white paper with a spellbinders embossing folder.  Then I cut it down and sewed it to this red Bo Bunny paper line paper.  I then adhered it to a white card base.  I found this red/white flower scrap of paper in my stash and I liked the variance of colour so I used a strip of it to follow the sketch.

Then I used MFT pierced square dies and cut the image as well as more of the same Bo Bunny Red paper and then adhered it to each other and then onto the card.  I love these dies because it adds some simple paper piercing to your card!  To finish up the card, I added the white flowers with bling and the string of bling on the bottom of the image.  I love how that sparkles!  I couldn't find my wink of stella pen, or there would be more sparkle on the image.

I plan to send this my my friend as it is her 12th anniversary!  Anyways, thank you so much for checking out my card.  I hope things will settle down with the house this week and next week I can get back into posting and creating!

I hope you enjoyed this project!  Please check out the other DT members' projects!  Thanks so much for joining me for this Challenge over at Stamps & fun = Creativity!

Male Challenge - DT - Western

Today's "DT Post Card"

Firstly an update on my house!  We are in the middle of moving, so I wanted to quickly post this card!  Oh course in a new house you set up your scrapbook room first, not your kitchen!  Pictures coming of my new space!

I love male cards, they are more fun to make because you have to use different elements.  I took some papers and cut a circle in them and then stitched the papers together.  I then tore one edge and inked it up.  I adhered it to the black card base.

I then took some of these 3d stickers and layered on the vest and this fun rope!  I added the Yee Haw sticker and some bling to finish it up.  I know this was a fast card, but most of my craft room is gone to the new house!  I hope you enjoyed this card and I look forward to the new challenge coming in 2 weeks!
