Today's "Album"
My favourite colour is blue. It is probably the reason I had two boys, because I prefer blue!!! I love making baby albums to celebrate a little one. My "new" for this project is the charm closure creation I made. I took some duct tape and some eyelets to create the binding and then a Tim Holtz attachment plus chair and then the all boy charm. Charms are kind of new for me, I don't really use them! I love the ribbon on the spine of this album and I love the mulberry tear bear elephant on the front! There is so much to love about this album, all the different blues coming together in one album. I used lots of papers from my stash to create the pages in this album. I tried to add lots of pockets and flaps to make it interesting. I also didn't over layer it with flowers and other things as you want room for pictures!!!! This is one of my more favourite albums I have made, what do you think!!

Last night I held my first private scrapbook class. It was so much fun, there were 12 people. I prepared the house full of my ready made cards, kits, and albums, and then created a section where people could make their own kits. Check out the pics. Also I'm posting pictures of the item I taught! (Scroll down for pictures of mini-album
So lots going on in this mini-album card. I did lots of sewing, embossing, and die cutting for this class. I love the colours and the layering. On each of the tags are bible scriptures. Each person picked a special scripture for their card as well as a bunch I printed for all. I love the extra pockets and the punches and everything really came together for this album!

Hey! I made up this mini-album card. I just love how cute it is! Most of the papers are from Kaiser Craft - Lullaby, an older paper line. To start out I took this wonderful image and layered it up with spellbinders. I used some stickles on the moon and blanket. I added some bling too. For the background, I layered up some papers, did some sewing and inking and took some ribbon and made a nice bow! Then I took a yellow spellbinders mat and placed it on top. I added the die of the baby, flowers/brad, and the sentiment I made and printed from MS Word. For the inside I used more ribbon, bling, flowers, brads, and a few more cut digi images and sentiments. After that for pages 4 & 5, I made a pocket using an EK Success Die and tucked a little tag in there. Plus you can put a gift card in there too. To bring it all together I used another spellbinder die for the place to write a sentiment to the recipient. Lastly there is another hidden tag on the right side of the card, with a big sized mat that a picture or journalling can go!

Hey everyone. Well I made up this little mini album card. I love this paper line documented. I can't seem to get enough. I think Michaels bought the line and they have the same paper, so looks like I will be able to get more of it! But simple stories was the one who first created it. So to start I took a strip of polka dots and sewed it to the mat. I then adhered it to the card base. I stuck some Tim Holtz paper on and then layered it with this envelope. I used some of the documented paper to mat it up. I lastly added some bling, a button, a couple of metal elements, and this wonderful fibre for the tag.
For the inside, I used these beautiful dies by Spellbinders to create this mat that I popped up with pop dots. For the mat in behind, again I did my sewing. I think it adds so much. Lastly I added some bling. For the 1/2 page beside, I stamped a Tim Holtz stamp and added a few bling.
I made this little pocket for this tag and again used some of the documented line to finish this up. A "enjoy" sticker from Facades line and some bling. I wanted to keep the last page simple so I just threw in a couple of Tim Holtz paper squares, a paper clip, a lock, and this wonderful metal element. Ok maybe it wasn't so simple, but I like it!!!
Lastly you can see the pull out tag coming from the side of the card. I kept it simple so someone could add a picture!

Today's "Card & Album"
Hey everyone. Well I had a strange day. I went scrapbook shopping for supplies and ended up selling a few things to the owners! Here are some pictures of the items!
I just love this bear. Isn't he cute. I just made this up today and it obviously was cute because she scooped it up! I love the bingo card in behind and the lovely colours!

Isn't this a cute card. I love this CC Designs image. She is so cute. I love the yellow and teal together!
Again I love this cute little girl. I used stickles to add some sparkle to this card and I love the big red flower and blue bow!
Check out this mini I made. I just finished this up and Daryl had to have it! I used some little envelopes I had and matted them up. I added some buttons, gears, and some Tim Holtz metal to add some fun.
This has to be my favorite page. I love the camera die and the post card. The following page has the big gear and the flowers. I stamped this image into this little text area and love how that turned out. I used the film strip from Tim Holtz to add something extra to this page. Love it!
Love the pull out tags and the fibres. I used the paper line "documented" and I just love this paper line. It is great for Vintage or a more Manly look!
A quick look at the pull out tag from the card I managed to sneak in there! Hope you enjoyed the few projects! I'm adding this to my Make it Monday list!

Today's "Card"
Hey! I made this double fold card and I just love the look. I used some of the rest of my basic grey paper from this older paper line. I love the red's and browns and such. I sewed this strip of paper from this paper line to more strips from the same paper line and then punched the edge with a martha stewart punch. I then wrapped this black and white ribbon around the mat and then adhered it to the card front. I cut out this red flourish using a spellbinders die. Then I layered up this butterfly image. I added some bling, flowers, sentiment, and a brad.

For the inside I used more papers and more spellbinders dies. I love all these dies, they really add a nice look. I did some more sewing and layering. I love the middle page with these new dies. They are so pretty. I added another image of the birds in the trees and another sentiment and this middle area was done!
For the last little page (green page) I just added these little dies from the D-Lites Spellbinders pack to keep the theme going.
I love how this all came together. It makes this more then "just a card". I could have put in a spot for a gift card and the possibilities are endless! I hope you all love it!
