DT - Use Die Cuts

Today's "DT Post Card"

Hey everyone!  This week it is to use "die cuts" challenge.

I love this weeks' challenge.  I love using die cuts.  I have used this Docrafts paperline.  I love the gold and silver in this paperline.  I die cut the circle with a SSS circle stitched die set.  I also cut some of the white/gold/silver paper down so I could use a black card mat in behind.  I layered this up on my white card base.

I die cut the couple with a couple die and I cut it out of silver cardstock.  I then die cut the celebrate die with foam and added it to the card.

I didn't add any sequins or bling as this card was quite sparkly enough!  It was quite a simple card to make but I really love how it looks.

I hope you enjoyed this project!  Please check out the other DT members' projects!  Thanks so much for joining me for this Challenge over at Stamps & fun = Creativity!

DT - White Card Challenge

Today's "DT Post Card"

Hey everyone!  This week it is to make a "white card" challenge.

To start out I die cut a few things.  I die cut this princess die and then die cut it again with foam to give it dimension.  I took some perfect pearls and mixed it with water and painted on the perfect pearls onto the princess!  After it dried, I adhered it to the foam piece.

I die cut some white card stock with the SSS wavy borders and layered two of them up for the background.  I then embossed another piece of white cardstock with an embossing folder and then layered the border piece on top of the embossed piece.  I really like that.  I adhered the whole piece to the card base!

I then adhered the princess on top and then added some sequins.  I decided it needed something else, so I rounded the corners to add some more softness to this card.  That finished up the card.  I really like the perfect pearls on the dress.  I think it still keeps it white but adds a different shade of white!

I hope you enjoyed this project!  Please check out the other DT members' projects!  Thanks so much for joining me for this Challenge over at Stamps & fun = Creativity!

Make a card 3 - Video Tutorial

Today's "Make a Card 3 / 16"

Hey, a quick card today.  I love red and blacks together.  I like to use busy paper in the background and then cover it up with layers to add interest to the cards.  This is some older papers from an old paper line and I have layered it together with a great image/sentiment.  I have some some sewing as well, and used bling, a ribbon and some stickles.  I really love how quick a card this was to put together and how cute it looks when finished.
