Spring time fun!

Today's "Card"

Hey everyone.  I recently made this wonderfully fun card.  I love this fun image.  I used spellbinders and layered up the image using oval dies.  I found some paper I think I have had forever and layered a strip over the mat and then sewed it to the mat.  I took similar paper and then cut out the little rectangles and adhered some letter stickers that matched to say "Hey".  I attached it by using eyelets and running some twine/thread through it to hang it.  I added some flowers to brighten up this card and some brads and bling too.  I love how it came together.

Green with envy

Today's "Card"

Hey, well I don't use that often. I love browns and blues so much but I made this card using this great image. Actually I think the girls eyes were originally blue, but I used photoshop to change them to green! I used this great rich brown paper and layered a strip across and sewed it on. I then added some wonderfully green and bright ribbon to the mat. I adhered it all to the card front and then I added some flowers, leaves, brads, and bling to add some decoration. Both my "hello" and "friend" are stamps from various stamping companies. I like how it came together and I think having the brown background, really helps the green pop!

Child's play

Today's "Card"

I love this image I won from the paper shelter. It is so pretty and fun! It is kind of springy too! I layered up the dies to mat the image with spellbinders. I added some twine to add some colour. I took a few random flowers/brads and buttons and stickers and added them to decorate the card some more. I used this "Thanks for being my friend" stamp for the sentiment. For the inside I continued with the same colours and added a few more sentiments to the inside.  I love how all the colours work together!

Waterfall

Today's "Card"

Hey! I love this stamp of this waterfall. I took this and coloured in the image with copics. I cut out the image which was quite interesting considering all the little areas to cut around!! I placed it on top of a black spellbinders die...I wanted it to stand out a bit from the patterned paper on the card. I took a mixture of some paper from my stash and this K & Co paper and layered it up, sewed some strips, and then put it all together on the card front. I added the bling, flowers, brads, and the rub on sentiment (From Kaiser craft). I love how it all came together and I love the sewing as an embellishment!

The love boat...paper shelter

Today's "Card"

I made this card with random paper from my stash, I am not sure what paper line it is, but I sure like the colours. I used this image I won from the paper shelter. I sewed a strip down the side of the card and then added some ribbon and bling. I layered up some flowers and brads, and lastly I made my own sentiment and used a spellbinders die to cut it out. On the inside I cut out a shape and then stamped a CC Designs Amy R stamp from her lovely set.

Inspirational mini-card

Today's "Album"

Today's "Card"

Hey everyone. I taught this class a couple of weeks ago. I have just one kit left, email me if you are interested! I also have a completed version of this also for sale!

I love this little card mini album. I It is great and still little enough that it doesn't cost too much to mail! I wanted to make an "inspirational" mini album/card that had inspiring quotes. I used this wonderful Canadian paper line that has been discontinued, but I love the colours. I used my bridge digi image and coloured it up. I used some spellbinders to layer up my images on all pages. I added some flowers, brads, buttons, twine, metal clips, punched items, and sewing to embellish this project. I wanted to make sure there was lots of room to add photos and journaling to. Check out the pictures!

This is where there is a pull out hidden tag. It is nice and big so you can get a really great sized photo on it!
