Boy chipboard

Today's "Album"

Hey! I made this chipboard album. It is really cute! It sure took a lot of adhesive though. I shaped my chipboard pieces and then set up my mats for this album. I sewed some mats onto the main papers and then adhered it to the chipboard. I made sure the paper came right to the end of the chipboard edges to keep a clean look. After the papers were attached, I added some embellishments such as stickers and buttons. Very little went into this album, but how cute it turned out!

Mojo - Bingo - Anything

Today's "Card"

Well tonight I put together a card for Mojo Monday. I always find sketches hard because I want to add or take away from the sketch!!! At any rate, I stamped this sentiment from Just Rite stamps onto some white cardstock and then used a spellbinders die to but it out. I used more of the K & Co sweet nectar paper line and sewed the square onto the spellbinders flour lis squares. I added some pink gems/bling onto the 4 corners. I layered the papers like the Mojo design and sewed the green piece to the mats. I adhered it to the main card front and then added a really nice flower and a leaf. I inked the edges with shabby shutters just t add some interest.

Simple autumn

Today's "Card"

Hey, I made this autumn'y card. I like how simple it was to make. I used some leaves paper and then put some velvet black embellishment down the side of the card. I really like how that looks. I added a digi of this scarecrow and matted it up with spellbinders. I then added some golden bling, a brad, and some flowers to finish this up. It is funny how sometimes we talk forever to do a card...it is nice every once in awhile to just do a simple one!

This card won at Totally Stampalicious!!

Happy 1st bear-day

Today's "Card"

I love this card! I used paper from My Minds Eye - Bluebell 6X6 paper pack. I love this pack! I layered the papers and then added some black for the bottom and used the Martha Stewart punch to add some pazzzazz! I have this digi of this bear and used watercolor pencils to add some light brown/grey color to this little guy! I used spellbinders to mat him up and used pop dots to add some lift. For the sentiment, I made this up in MS word and printed it out. Then I used the new spellbinders fancy tags from their 2012 release to cut this out. It was quite a simple and quick card, but it is oh so sweet!

Gymnast card.

Today's "Card"

Hi everyone. I want to give a shout out to some new followers who have joined my blog. I also want to thank everyone for their sweet comments, I really appreciate them!!!

For this card, I used another Patti image that I won from entering a previous challenge over at Patti's Creations. I used to be a competitive gymnast for many years, so when I saw this image...I had to have it! For this card I used the K & Co Sweet Nectar paper line. I layered a few pieces and then used some oval spellbinders dies. I used copics to color in our Patti image. I then added some glittery stickler for her gym suit and matching pony tail elastic. I used pop dots to help her "pop" out. But I couldn't stop there with the stickles and added some pink stickler to the polka-dots on the pink paper! I made my own sentiment and printed it off, then used a Paper Shapers, whale of a punch tag punch to punch out the sentiment. I inked it with Shabby Shutters and then pop dotted it. Lastly I put some black bling to add some interest and this one was done! I love it!

Dog album for charity

Today's "Album"

Hey everyone. I made this card stock paged dog album for the Dogs With Wings charity auction coming up. If you didn't know, we have a service dog through them for our son!

For this album, I tried to keep it simple and not over embellish it. I found some words to place on pages, and I really liked how it turned out. I embossed the X's and O's onto some similar colored paper to be my front/back cover paper and then inked it. I used a variety of paper packs as they all seemed to have browns in them and it turned out great. I stamped the lab/dog stamp and then colored it with copics and then matted it with spellbinders scalloped circle die. I attached some ribbon and flowers to add to the front. I used vintage photo as my ink for the edges and such. I really hope that they get a good price at the auction for it. Last year my baby girl shopping album went for $80!!!!

What a hoot!

Today's "Card"

I love this owl image, I mean really who doesn't love owls! I used a spellbinder die and then some smaller circle dies to layer underneath. I added some flowers, gems, brads, and some staples to finish it up. A pretty simple card, but I really like it, mostly because of the owl!!!

Embossing, Autumn, and Tim Holtz

Today's "Card"

I made up this card using Tim Holtz's kraft resist. I used gathered twigs, red brick, and spiced marmalade. I distressed the edges. I stamped the umbrella man with Onxy black ink. Then I embossed Tim's stamp, LIFE, and used a copper embossing powder. I also did that with the umbrella and used dimensional adhesive to give it a POP. I attached the paper to the card base using the tiny attacher and then used copic markers to change the color of the staples to black. I added 3 gears from 7 gypsies. I inked up the "play" tag and then attached it with a clip. This one took awhile, but I had fun playing!
