Stamps & Fun Sketch

Today's "Fun Sketch"

Hey everyone thanks for stopping by.  Today I made a card using the sketch from Stamps & Fun challenge blog.  It is a 5 1/2 X 5 1/2 sized card.

I started out taking some pink papers from my stash and layering them up with some yellow papers just to help them stand out.   For the bottom layer I added some white dash lines with my uni-ball sign broad pen.  I love this pen!  For the next layer, I sewed the pink patterned paper to the yellow card stock.  I then wrapped some yellow/white twine around the mat and then adhered it to the card with some pop dots.   I took my image and cut it out with spellbinders dies and then layered it up with some "hearts" circle dies from spellbinders.  I then cut the pink heart mat in half.  I adhered the image to the pink heart mat.  I then used pop dots again to pop up the image to add some dimension.

Lastly I added some bling, flowers, and stickles.  I adhered the flowers/brad with some hot glue.  For the bling, I didn't have any yellow bling, so I just used clear bling and coloured them with my yellow copic marker.  For the image I added some stickles to her bow, the candle, and the cupcake to add some shimmer!  What a fun little card and neat sketch!
