Compendium of Curiosity 13

Today's "Card"

Well it has been awhile since I have done the Compendium of Curiosity Challenges. For this week, it was asked for us to create a spritz and flick distress. I made two different cards to show the technique. I used many Tim Holtz stamps, and of course his new coloured inks!

I like this card. I love these new colours, salty ocean and picked raspberry! I used the mini-stamps from his ATC sets from Michaels. I masked the middle image so that the background of diamonds wouldn't go over the image. I used the tiny attacher to attach the sentiment.

Again I love the colour, mowed grass and picked raspberry. I used a bit of Hemp thread to accent the card and a cool metal door handle to really "Tim Holtz" this card! I also cut out an umbrella top using a green card stock. I used my copic markers to add shadows and give it some dimension.

  1. Beautiful and sunny cards. Love the new colors.

  2. Hi Kelly loving these colourful makes. They are certainly Tim Holtz. The new summer trio DI's look fabulous so I must order as soon as possible. Congratulations on your SSSS challenge entry, which was very inspiring. Crafty hugs Annie x
