Green with envy

Today's "Card"

Hey, well I don't use that often. I love browns and blues so much but I made this card using this great image. Actually I think the girls eyes were originally blue, but I used photoshop to change them to green! I used this great rich brown paper and layered a strip across and sewed it on. I then added some wonderfully green and bright ribbon to the mat. I adhered it all to the card front and then I added some flowers, leaves, brads, and bling to add some decoration. Both my "hello" and "friend" are stamps from various stamping companies. I like how it came together and I think having the brown background, really helps the green pop!

  1. Lovely card. I really like the green with the brown. I like the stitching on the one paper strip. Thanks for sharing at Cards in Envy for our Paper strips instead of ribbon challenge.
