Stamp Class – Day 5 – Card 3

Today’s Stamp Class Card:

Hey, thanks for stopping by.  I am taking the Online Card Classes:  Stretch your stamps 2.  This is my second class ever and I’m excited to do something new and fun.  I mostly use patterned paper and I really don’t stamp a ton, but I thought this would be fun!

So I completed four cards for the class:  HERE IS CARD THREE for day 5!

stamp class

Hey, so check out this Stamp Class “card three”.  So this is quite a different task, for me it is.  I usually don’t stamp and colour in images with distress markers but I did this time.  So I took this image from Flourishes and used distress markers to ink up the stamp.  I stamped the image and then used my water brush to water-colour in the image.  I really love this idea!  I LOVE IT!  I took that white mat and then layered it onto some green card stock first and then cut out the odd shape.  I then wrapped some thread around the piece and then layered it up onto some matching pink card stock.  I then adhered the whole piece to a 120 lb card base from SSS with some foam tape.  I love this card base!  Lastly I embossed the sentiment onto some green matching card stock and then used some foam tape to give it some life.

I just realized that one of my bling fell off of the card, there was supposed to be three!  Oh well, I’ll just go add one now!  🙂  Live & Learn!

I really like this card, it is quite unusual for me, and I enjoyed it!
