Stamp Class – Day 10 – Card 1

Today’s Stamp Class Card:

Hey, thanks for stopping by.  I am taking the Online Card Classes:  Stretch your stamps 2.  This is my second class ever and I’m excited to do something new and fun.  I mostly use patterned paper and I really don’t stamp a ton, but I thought this would be fun!

HERE IS CARD 1 for day 10

Hey, so check out this Stamp Class “card one”.  I had mixed feelings about this card at first because I don’t like fish!  But also I had no fish die cuts, so I had to hand cut my fish!  Anyways, here is how it all went!

So I started out making the main panel using the MFT’s blueprints 13 set.  I used the A2 stitched die and then started to make my panel.  I then cut out a circle from that panel and a smaller circle from another white panel.  I adhered the green panel to the white panel and then I had a layered circle!

I then started to stamp my floral image for my fish.  I took another white panel to stamp this.  I used the W PLUS 9 stamp set and started with some lighter colour greens for the background and then as I got closer to the front, I used some darker colours.  Once you put the green panel with the circle over this additional mat, you can see how it is taking shape.

I cut out a few fish and used some flossy accents to add some shine and I adhere them.  I added this “Hook” breacuse I wanted it to match my sentiment, which I printed from MS Word and coloured in with a copic marker.  I was done at this point and took a picture, but then decided it needed more, so I took this bubble stencil from Memory box, and I put some modelling paste on with the stencil.  I like it better now.
